Steps

Step 1 – Open the Screen Printing Apparel Product
  1. Navigate to Settings → Products.
  2. Locate Screen Printing Apparel in your product list.
  3. Open the product.
  4. Click Configure Pricing
Step 2 – Review Catalog Configuration

  1. Navigate to Settings → Catalogs.
  2. Review the available Managed Catalogs.
  3. Verify the catalogs available for apparel quoting.
  4. Add custom catalogs if needed.

Catalogs manage garment selection and garment pricing separately from decoration pricing. The apparel catalog controls garment selection, while decoration pricing is managed separately within the Screen printing Apparel product.

Step 3 – Configure Screen Charges
  1. Return to Settings → Products → Screen Printing Apparel Product to the Screen Charge section.
  2. Review the configured screen charge amount.
  3. Update the cost or selling price if necessary.
  4. Save your changes.

Screen charges are typically applied for each screen required during production.

Step 4 – Configure Screen Printing Pricing Matrices
  1. Navigate to the Pricing Matrix section.
  2. Review the existing pricing matrices.
  3. Rename matrices if needed to match your pricing models.
  4. Add additional matrices using the available add options.

Examples include:

  • Screen Printing Retail
  • Wholesale 1
  • Wholesale 2
  • Contract Printing

These matrices allow different pricing structures for different customer groups.

Step 5 – Configure Quantity and Color Pricing
  1. Open a pricing matrix.
  2. Review the quantity break rows.
  3. Review the color-count columns.
  4. Adjust pricing as needed.
  5. Add additional color counts if required.
  6. Add additional quantity breakpoints using Add New Breakpoint.

The matrix calculates decoration pricing based on:

  • Quantity Ordered
  • Number of Ink Colors

The example matrix supports up to eight print colors.

Step 6 – Configure Decoration Locations
  1. Review the Locations section.
  2. Verify the available decoration locations.
  3. Add new locations using Add Location when needed.
  4. Save your changes.

Common examples include:

  • Full Front
  • Full Back
  • Left Chest
  • Right Chest
  • Sleeve

Locations identify where screen printing will be applied.

Step 7 – Configure Optional Charges
  1. Navigate to the Options section.
  2. Review available production add-ons.
  3. Edit pricing for existing options.
  4. Add or duplicate options as necessary.
  5. Save your changes.

Examples may include:

  • Flash Charge
  • Fold & Bag
  • Rush Charge
  • Specialty Ink
  • Tag Printing

These options apply additional charges per garment.

Step 8 – Configure Catalog Availability
  1. Navigate to the Catalog Settings section.
  2. Select which catalogs should be available for this product.
  3. Save the configuration.

This determines which apparel catalogs users can access while building quotes.

Step 9 – Create a Screen Printing Quote
  1. Create a new quote or sales order.
  2. Select Screen Printing Apparel as the product.
  3. Choose a Catalog.
  4. Select a garment Style.
  5. Choose the garment Color.
  6. Enter quantities by size.

Once quantities are entered, the catalog pricing is automatically applied.

Step 10 – Add Additional Colors or Styles
  1. Click Copy Style to duplicate an existing garment.
  2. Change the color if needed.
  3. Enter quantities for the new color.
  4. Save the style.

To add a completely different garment:

  1. Click Add Style.
  2. Select another catalog item.
  3. Enter quantities.
  4. Save the style.

This is useful when the same screen print design is being applied to multiple apparel products.

Step 11 – Add Screen Printing Decorations
  1. Navigate to the Locations section.
  2. Click the Pencil Edit icon.
  3. Select the appropriate pricing matrix.
  4. Choose the decoration location.
  5. Select the number of print colors.
  6. Save the decoration.

The quantity automatically calculates from the apparel quantities entered above.

Step 12 – Add Additional Print Locations
  1. Click Add Location.
  2. Select another print location.
  3. Configure the color count.
  4. Save the location.

Examples include:

  • Front and Back Prints
  • Left Chest and Full Back
  • Sleeve and Front Prints

Multiple locations may be quoted within the same line item.

Step 13 – Apply Optional Charges
  1. Navigate to the Options section.
  2. Click the Pencil Edit icon.
  3. Select the desired option.
  4. Save your changes.

Example:

  • A dark garment may require a Flash Charge during production.

Additional options can be added as needed.

Step 14 – Configure Screen Counts
  1. Navigate to the Screen Charge section.
  2. Enter the number of screens required.
  3. Save the line item.

Example:

  • A two-color design requires 2 screens.

Screen charges are applied automatically based on the screen count entered.

Step 15 – Enter Custom Field Information
  1. Navigate to the Custom Fields section.
  2. Enter production notes.
  3. Add location-specific instructions.
  4. Add option-specific details if needed.
  5. Save your changes.

Examples include:

  • Print placement instructions
  • Ink specifications
  • Customer requests
  • Production notes

These fields are informational and do not directly affect pricing.

Step 16 – Review the Pricing Breakdown
  1. Click Pricing Breakdown.
  2. Review garment pricing.
  3. Review screen printing charges.
  4. Review screen charges.
  5. Review option charges.
  6. Verify the final quote value.

The pricing breakdown displays:

  • Garment Pricing
  • Screen Printing Decoration Charges
  • Screen Charges
  • Optional Service Charges
  • Amortized Pricing

This provides full visibility into how the final selling price was calculated.

Step 17 – Save the Line Item
  1. Save the Screen Printing Apparel line item.
  2. Review the generated summary grid.
  3. Verify styles, colors, quantities, and pricing.

The summary grid displays:

  • Garment Styles
  • Sizes
  • Quantities
  • Individual Pricing
  • Total Pricing

This provides a final review before presenting the quote to the customer.
