Steps

Step 1 – Open the Flyers Digital Golden Product
  1. Navigate to Products.
  2. Open the Flyers Digital Golden product.
  3. Review the product configuration page.

This product is considered a "Golden Product," meaning it serves as a standardized template built according to shopVOX best practices.

Step 2 – Review the Grid UI Structure
  1. Locate the product's Grid UI pricing table.
  2. Review the available pricing dimensions:
    • Quantity
    • Ink Color
    • Size & Stock
  3. Understand that the Grid UI functions like a mini spreadsheet containing pricing data.

The grid stores both cost and selling price information for each combination of product options.

Step 3 – Understand the Grid Data Points
  1. Review the Rows of the grid.
    • Rows represent Quantity sets.
  2. Review the Columns of the grid.
    • Columns represent Ink Color options.
  3. Review the Tabs of the grid.
    • Tabs represent combinations of Size and Stock.

Together, these three dimensions create the pricing matrix used by the product.

Step 4 – Review Pricing and Cost Information
  1. Enable the Show Cost Column checkbox if needed.
  2. Review the production cost displayed for each cell.
  3. Review the corresponding customer selling price.
  4. Verify that pricing aligns with your business requirements.

This allows you to compare internal cost versus selling price directly within the grid.

Step 5 – Understand Quantity Breakpoints
  1. Locate the Quantity section of the grid.
  2. Review available quantity breakpoints such as:
    • 100
    • 250
    • 500
  3. Understand that each quantity level contains its own pricing structure.

Unlike products sold individually, flyer products are typically priced and sold in production quantities or batches.

Step 6 – Export and Edit Grid Pricing
  1. Open the grid management options.
  2. Select Export to Excel.
  3. Make pricing adjustments within the spreadsheet.
  4. Save the updated file.
  5. Re-import the spreadsheet into shopVOX.

This process is often more efficient than updating each grid tab individually.

Step 7 – Test Product Pricing
  1. Navigate to Check Pricing.
  2. Select a Quantity.
  3. Choose an Ink Color option:
    • Full Color
    • Full Color Front & Back
    • Full Color Front / Black Back
  4. Select the appropriate Size and Stock.
  5. Review the calculated price.

The system automatically retrieves pricing from the grid based on the selected combination of options.

Notes & Tips

🔹 Tip: Use Excel export and import when making widespread pricing updates across multiple sizes and stock options.

🔹 Tip: Standardized Golden Products can help maintain consistent pricing structures across your organization.

⚠️ Warning: Be sure all size and stock combinations are populated with pricing before making the product available to users.

⚠️ Warning: Changes made to exported spreadsheets should be carefully reviewed before re-importing to avoid unintended pricing updates.
