The Heat Transfer Apparel Golden Product allows you to quote decorated apparel by combining catalog garments, heat transfer decoration pricing, optional service charges, and production specifications into a single workflow. This product helps standardize apparel pricing while supporting DTF, heat transfer, and other heat-applied decoration methods. Steps

Step 1 – Open the Heat Transfer Apparel Product
  1. Navigate to Settings → Products.
  2. Locate Heat Transfer Apparel in your product list.
  3. Open the product.
  4. Click Configure Pricing.
Step 2 – Review Catalog Configuration

  1. Navigate to Settings → Catalogs.
  2. Review available Managed Catalogs.
  3. Verify the catalogs you intend to use for apparel quoting.
  4. Add any custom catalogs if needed.

The catalog section controls garment selection and pricing, while the Heat Transfer Apparel product manages decoration pricing.

Step 3 – Configure Heat Transfer Pricing Matrices
  1. Return to Settings → Products → Heat Transfer Apparel.
  2. Open Configure Pricing.
  3. Locate the Pricing Matrix section.
  4. Review existing decoration methods.
  5. Add additional matrices using the Green Plus (+) button if required.

Examples may include:

  • DTF Full Color
  • Heat Transfer
  • Specialty Heat Transfer
  • Reflective Transfer
  • Custom Decoration Methods

Each matrix can have its own pricing structure.

Step 4 – Configure Print Size Pricing
  1. Open a pricing matrix.
  2. Review the available print size categories.
  3. Update cost and selling prices as needed.
  4. Add additional size options using Add New Size.
  5. Save your changes.

Print sizes determine the heat transfer decoration cost applied to the apparel item.

Step 5 – Configure Decoration Locations
  1. Locate the Location Setup section.
  2. Review the default location list.
  3. Add additional locations using Add Location if needed.
  4. Save your changes.

Examples include:

  • Full Front
  • Left Chest
  • Full Back
  • Sleeve
  • Neck Label

These locations determine where heat transfers will be applied.

Step 6 – Configure Optional Charges
  1. Navigate to Section 2 – Options.
  2. Review the available add-on services.
  3. Edit existing options as required.
  4. Enable the options you want available during quoting.

Examples include:

  • Folding & Bagging
  • Rush Charges
  • Special Materials
  • Garment Pretreatment
  • Premium Handling Services

These charges are added in addition to the decoration price.

Step 7 – Create a Heat Transfer Quote
  1. Create a new quote or sales order.
  2. Select Heat Transfer Apparel as the product.
  3. Choose a Catalog.
  4. Select a garment Style.
  5. Choose the garment Color.
  6. Enter quantities by size.

Once quantities are entered, the system will calculate garment pricing based on your catalog configuration.

Step 8 – Add Additional Colors or Styles
  1. Click Copy Style to duplicate a garment style.
  2. Change the garment color.
  3. Enter quantities for the new color.
  4. Save the style.

Alternatively:

  1. Click Add Style.
  2. Select a different garment style.
  3. Choose its color and quantities.
  4. Save the style.

Use this when the same heat transfer design will be applied across multiple apparel products.

Step 9 – Configure Heat Transfer Locations
  1. Navigate to the Locations section.
  2. Click the Pencil Edit icon.
  3. Select the desired heat transfer pricing matrix.
  4. Choose the decoration location.
  5. Select the transfer size.
  6. Save the location.

The quantity automatically populates based on the garment quantities entered above.

Step 10 – Add Additional Decoration Locations
  1. Click Add Location.
  2. Select an additional print location.
  3. Configure the decoration size and details.
  4. Save the location.

Examples may include:

  • Front and Back Transfers
  • Left Chest and Sleeve Transfers
  • Sleeve and Neck Label Applications.
Step 11 – Apply Optional Charges
  1. Navigate to the Options section.
  2. Click the Pencil Edit icon.
  3. Select the desired option.
  4. Save the option.

To add additional services:

  1. Click Add Option.
  2. Select another charge.
  3. Save the option.

These charges are automatically applied to the appropriate quantity.

Step 12 – Enter Custom Field Information
  1. Navigate to Custom Fields.
  2. Enter any customer-facing notes.
  3. Enter production instructions.
  4. Save the information.

Examples include:

  • Placement specifications
  • Special handling requirements
  • Production notes
  • Customer requests

Custom fields are informational and do not directly affect pricing.

Step 13 – Review the Pricing Breakdown
  1. Click Pricing Breakdown.
  2. Review garment pricing.
  3. Review decoration pricing.
  4. Review option charges.
  5. Verify the final selling price.

The breakdown displays:

  • Garment Selling Price
  • Decoration Pricing
  • Option Charges
  • Amortized Pricing
  • Total Calculated Costs

This allows you to understand exactly how the quote price was generated.

Step 14 – Save the Item
  1. Save the Heat Transfer Apparel line item.
  2. Review the generated summary grid.
  3. Verify quantities, sizes, styles, and pricing.

The summary displays:

  • Garment Styles
  • Size Quantities
  • Per-Size Pricing
  • Total Pricing

This information provides a clear quote summary before presenting it to the customer.
