Door hanger products allow you to efficiently price and produce printed marketing materials using either detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) or simplified grid-based pricing. This guide walks you through how to set up, customize, and price door hangers using shopVOX PRO golden products. Door Hanger Golden Product Options - BOM vs Grid

Steps
Step 1 – Add Door Hanger Golden Products
  1. Navigate to Settings (top right corner).
  2. Click Products or use the Product Pricing shortcut.
  3. Click Add New Product.
  4. Locate door hanger options under Golden Products (Signage, Apparel, Commercial Printing).
  5. Select:
    • Door Hangers with Bill of Materials
    • Optionally, Business Card Standard (for grid pricing)
  6. Click Add Products to add them to your account.
Step 2 – Configure Bill of Materials (BOM) Pricing
  1. Use the Search Bar to find your door hanger product.
  2. Click the Edit icon to adjust pricing.
  3. Update Machine Click Charges:
    • Black & White click cost and price
    • Color click cost and price
  4. Click Show All Fields to access additional machine rate options.
  5. Configure Units per Click and enable Display in Line Item Description if needed.
  6. Under Materials (Stock):
    • Add or copy an existing material
    • Rename (e.g., 16pt Uncoated)
    • Update specifications
    • Enable using the checkbox so it appears in dropdowns
  7. Adjust Default Charges such as perforation or additional finishing.
Step 3 – Validate Pricing with the Check Pricing Tool
  1. Click on the Check Pricing tab.
  2. Enter:
    • Quantity
    • Product size (default: 3.5 x 8.5)
    • Bleed (default: 0.125”)
  3. Adjust options such as:
    • Overs (e.g., 2%)
    • Packaging charges
    • Rotation and perforation
    • Rush charges
  4. Select Stock and Color.
  5. Click Pricing Breakdown to review:
    • Material usage (e.g., number of sheets)
    • Machine click charges
    • Additional costs
  6. Toggle double-sided printing to see how click charges change.

Step 1 – Set Up Simplified Grid Pricing (Optional)
  1. Open the copied Business Card Standard product.
  2. Click Copy to create your door hanger grid product.
  3. Assign Cost of Goods and Income Accounts.
  4. Add a product description (e.g., Digitally Printed Door Hangers).
  5. In the Configure Pricing tab, define:
    • Run Size
    • Stock Options
    • Color Options
  6. Update Cost and Price values directly in the grid.
  7. Return to the Check Pricing tab to confirm pricing accuracy.
  8. Note: Pricing breakdown will only show a total price, not material or labor details.
