How to Activate Your PAX A920 Pro Terminal

Your business must be set up to accept payments with Shopvox Pay to use terminals. Application in app.

Terminal Setup

First, make sure your terminal is connected to the WiFi.​

Turn on the terminal and wait until you see the welcome screen.

Swipe from bottom of the screen to top to make the ARROW icon show at the bottom:

2 - Double Tap the ARROW icon at the bottom and enter password.

Default Password is: pax9876@@

3- Tap into SETTINGS app:

4- Select NETWORK AND INTERNET:

5- Connect to your WiFi and make sure it shows "Connected"

Once your terminal is connected to the WiFi, you can proceed to activate it from Shopvox.​​

Note: You can change your terminal password from terminal SETTINGS app > System > Password section.

How To Activate Terminal from Shopvox

  1. Click on Transactions and select Merchant Track (MerchantTrack is a powerful dashboard where you can activate terminals, access to advanced transaction reports and manage your transactions)*note that in April 2026 this may be called Pulse in your system.

  1. In Merchant Track (or Pulse) select “Terminals” tab and click “Activate Terminal”

  1. Enter terminal S/N and a name for the terminal and click “Activate”

You can find the terminal serial # at the bottom of your terminal.

  1. Once successfully added navigate back to shopVOX and go to Settings -> Accounting -> Payment Methods
  2. Select "Add new payment method"

  1. Select type "Terminal" and name this payment method and hit "Save Payment Method"

  1. If done correctly you will now see the option to select the terminal as a payment method when recording a payment.

Note: Please ensure your Terminal is on and connected to the internet when selecting it as a payment method.
