Steps

Step 1 – Open the Raffle Tickets Numbered Product
  1. Navigate to Settings → Products.
  2. Select Raffle Tickets Numbered.
  3. Open the Configure Pricing page.

This product uses the Grid UI (Grid User Interface), which functions like a mini spreadsheet for maintaining pricing.

Step 2 – Review the 3D Pricing Grid
  1. Locate the Configure Pricing section.
  2. Confirm that the product is configured as a 3D Grid.
  3. Review the three pricing variables used by the product.

The three data points are:

  • Quantity
  • Sides
  • Size

Each combination within the grid produces a unique selling price.

Step 3 – Understand the Pricing Columns
  1. Review the available checkbox options above the pricing grid.
  2. Enable Show Cost Column if desired.
  3. Review the cost and selling price values.

The columns represent:

  • Cost Column = Internal production cost.
  • Unit Price Column = Customer selling price.

Maintaining both values allows you to monitor margins and profitability.

Step 4 – Understand Quantity Breakpoints
  1. Locate the Use Quantity Breakpoints option.
  2. Review whether the checkbox is enabled.
  3. Determine if breakpoints are necessary for your workflow.

For raffle tickets, quantity breakpoints are generally not used because tickets are typically sold in ticket rolls or sets, such as:

  • 300 Tickets
  • 500 Tickets
  • 1,000 Tickets

Instead of individual ticket quantities, the pricing is normally based on predefined ticket package sizes.

Step 5 – Configure Ticket Sizes, Sides & Quantity breaks
  1. Review the available size tabs within the grid, Sides option and Quatity discount breaks
  2. Edit each existing data point if needed.
  3. Click Add New Size, Add New Sides or Add New Qty to create additional options.
  4. Save your changes.

Example size:

  • 2 1/8" × 6 1/2"

Additional sizes and sides can be created to support different ticket formats and event requirements.

NOTE: The Add New Sides button is NOT shown in this image. Scroll to the right to access this button.

Step 6 – Export and Import Pricing
  1. Click Export Grid.
  2. Download the CSV file.
  3. Open the file in Excel.
  4. Update pricing information as needed.
  5. Save the file.
  6. Re-import the CSV into shopVOX.

This process is often faster than manually editing every cell within the pricing grid.

Note: Importing a CSV will overwrite the existing pricing values in the grid.

Step 7 – Add the Product to a Quote
  1. Create or open a quote.
  2. Add the Raffle Tickets Numbered product.
  3. Select the desired ticket configuration.

You will be prompted to choose:

  • Ticket Quantity
  • Print Sides
  • Ticket Size
Step 8 – Add Numbering Instructions
  1. Click Edit Description.
  2. Enter the ticket numbering requirements.
  3. Include any customer-specific numbering instructions.
  4. Save the description.

Examples:

  • Number tickets 0001–0500
  • Number tickets 1001–1500
  • Create separate numbering sequences per ticket roll

This ensures production receives the correct numbering specifications.

Notes & Tips

🔹 Tip: Use the Export Grid feature when updating large amounts of pricing data.

🔹 Tip: Include numbering instructions directly in the description to avoid production errors.

🔹 Tip: Create additional ticket sizes if you regularly produce multiple raffle or event ticket formats.

⚠️ Warning: Importing a CSV file will overwrite existing pricing values. Always keep a backup before importing.

⚠️ Warning: Verify print-side selections carefully, as 1/0, 4/0, and 4/4 pricing may differ significantly.

⚠️ Warning: Always enter numbering requirements before finalizing the quote to prevent production delays.
