Steps

Step 1 – Open the Letterhead Digital Golden Product
  1. Navigate to Settings > Products.
  2. Locate Letterhead Digital Golden Product in your product list.
  3. Open the product to access the pricing grid configuration.
Step 2 – Review Grid Product Settings
  1. Locate the settings at the top of the product.
  2. Review the available options:
    • Show Cost Column
    • Unit Price
    • Use Quantity Breakpoints
  3. Enable Show Cost Column if you want to see production costs alongside selling prices.
  4. Leave Use Quantity Breakpoints disabled for standard letterhead pricing since the product is sold in predefined quantity sets (250, 500, etc.).
Step 3 – Understand the Grid Structure
  1. Review the Grid Type, which is configured as 3D.
  2. Understand the three pricing dimensions:
    • Quantity = Spreadsheet rows
    • Stocks and Sides = Spreadsheet columns
    • Size = Spreadsheet tabs
  3. Use these dimensions to build pricing combinations for your customers.

Example:

  • Quantity: 250, 500, 1000
  • Stock: 24 lb Linen, 60 lb White Text
  • Size: 8.5" x 11"
Step 4 – Add Additional Pricing Options
  1. Use the green text links within the grid.
  2. Click:
    • Add New Size
    • Add New Stock Size
    • Add New Quantities
  3. Create any additional options required for your shop's pricing structure.
Step 5 – Update Pricing and Costs Efficiently
  1. Export the grid to a CSV file.
  2. Open the CSV in Microsoft Excel or your preferred spreadsheet application.
  3. Enter or update:
    • Cost values
    • Selling prices
  4. Save the spreadsheet.
  5. Import the CSV back into shopVOX.

This method is typically faster and more accurate than updating every grid cell manually.

Step 6 – Test Pricing Using Check Pricing
  1. Select Check Pricing.
  2. Choose a quantity.
  3. Select a stock option.
  4. Select a size.
  5. Review the calculated price.

Example from the walkthrough:

  • Quantity: 250
  • Stock: 24 lb Linen
  • Size: 8.5" x 11"

The system will automatically return the corresponding price from the pricing grid.

Notes & Tips

🔹 Tip: Use the CSV export/import process when updating multiple prices at once. It is significantly faster than editing cells individually.

🔹 Tip: Keep stock naming conventions consistent to make future maintenance easier.

🔹 Tip: Use the cost column to validate margins before publishing pricing updates.

⚠️ Warning: Quantity breakpoints are intended for products sold as individual units. For letterhead sold in predefined quantity sets, they are generally not needed.

⚠️ Warning: Changes made directly to the grid affect customer pricing immediately once published, so always verify imported pricing before saving.

⚠️ Warning: When adding new stock options or sizes, ensure pricing has been populated for all quantity combinations to avoid incomplete quotes.
