How to enable Ecommerce
To initiate the process of adding the ecommerce add-on to your shopVOX account, the first step is to reach out to billing@shopvox.com. Send them an email requesting the inclusion of the ecommerce add-on in your account. This will allow you to unlock the powerful features and capabilities of the ecommerce functionality within shopVOX, enabling you to expand your online business presence and enhance your customers' shopping experience.
Setting up a Discount Code to be used in the Ecommerce add-on:
Navigate to Settings, Pricing, and select Discount Codes
From the Discount Codes screen, click on +Add New Discount Code
Fill in the New Discount Code information, and click the green Add new Discount Code, once completeName: A name to reference your Discount Code by Type: Fixed or Percentage. Fixed, is a fixed Dollar amount, and Percentage is based on a percent Value: Would be the fixed dollar amount, or the percentage Minimum Required: The amount someone has to purchase before allowing the discount code Limit of Using: the amount of times the Discount code can be used Valid From: The start date of the New Discount Code Valid To: The end date of the New Discount Code.
Once Saved you will see the New Discount code, as well as the actual Code for the Discount
Please Note: Your Discount Code in not the name you gave it. It is the Code listed. You will have to copy the code to be able to apply it to an ecommerce purchase.
How to use the Discount Code on an Ecommerce Purchase
Using the Discount code is easy. Lets see how it works from an example shopping cart
After you have selected items to purchase. Click on the shopping cart icon on the top Right of the screen. Then click the "Apply Discount Code"
Type or Paste a copy of your discount code into the field, then click "Apply Discount"
You will immediately see the applied discount values on the screen
Now click "X" to close the screen, and you will see the Discount applied to the shopping cart order
