Introduction

The Embroidery Apparel Golden Product allows you to quote embroidered apparel by combining catalog garments, stitch-count-based decoration pricing, multiple decoration locations, and optional service charges into a single line item. This product helps standardize embroidery pricing while providing flexibility for retail, wholesale, and specialty embroidery scenarios. Steps

Step 1 – Open the Embroidery Apparel Product
  1. Navigate to Settings → Products.
  2. Locate Embroidery Apparel in your product list.
  3. Open the product.
  4. Click Configure Pricing.
Step 2 – Review Catalog Configuration

  1. Navigate to Settings → Catalogs.
  2. Review your Managed Catalogs.
  3. Verify the apparel catalogs available for quoting.
  4. Add custom catalogs if needed.

The apparel catalog controls garment selection, while decoration pricing is managed separately within the Embroidery Apparel product.

Step 3 – Review Embroidery Pricing Matrices
  1. Return to Configure Pricing.
  2. Locate the Pricing Matrix section.
  3. Review the available embroidery pricing methods.
  4. Edit matrix names to match your business model.

Common examples include:

  • Flat Rate
  • Embroidery Retail
  • Embroidery Wholesale

These pricing matrices allow different embroidery rate structures for different customer types.

Step 4 – Configure Stitch Count Pricing
  1. Open one of the embroidery pricing matrices.
  2. Review the stitch count columns.
  3. Verify pricing for each stitch-count range.
  4. Add additional stitch-count columns if necessary.
  5. Review quantity breakpoints.
  6. Add additional quantity breaks using the Green Add Button.

The default setup includes:

  • 0–7K stitches
  • Additional 1K stitch increments thereafter

Pricing is determined by both stitch count and order quantity.

Step 5 – Configure Decoration Locations
  1. Locate the Location Setup section.
  2. Review the available decoration locations.
  3. Edit existing locations if needed.
  4. Click Add Location to create additional embroidery positions.

Common locations include:

  • Left Chest
  • Right Chest
  • Full Back
  • Sleeve
  • Hat Front
  • Hat Side

These locations determine where embroidery will be applied.

Step 6 – Configure Optional Charges
  1. Navigate to the Options section.
  2. Review available embroidery add-ons.
  3. Edit pricing as needed.
  4. Duplicate options to create custom services.
  5. Enable the options you want available during quoting.

Examples may include:

  • 3D Foam Embroidery
  • Cap Embroidery
  • Folding & Bagging
  • Metallic Thread
  • Specialty Backing
  • Sew-Out Charges

These options create additional per-piece charges.

Step 7 – Create an Embroidery Quote
  1. Create a new quote or sales order.
  2. Select Embroidery Apparel as the product.
  3. Choose a Catalog.
  4. Select a garment Style.
  5. Choose a garment Color.
  6. Enter quantities by size.

A garment preview will display after selecting the color, allowing you to verify the correct style and color combination.

Step 8 – Add Additional Colors or Styles
  1. Click Copy Style to duplicate an existing garment.
  2. Change the garment color.
  3. Enter the new quantities.
  4. Save the style.

You may also add completely different garment styles when the same embroidery design will be used across multiple products.

  • Jackets
  • Pullovers
  • Hoodies
Step 9 – Add Embroidery Decorations
  1. Navigate to the Decoration Locations section.
  2. Click the Pencil Edit icon.
  3. Select the desired embroidery pricing matrix.
  4. Choose the decoration location.
  5. Select the stitch-count range.
  6. Save the decoration.

The quantity automatically populates based on the total garments entered above.

Step 10 – Add Multiple Embroidery Locations
  1. Click Add Location.
  2. Select a second embroidery position.
  3. Configure the location's stitch count and pricing.
  4. Save the location.

Examples include:

  • Left Chest + Full Back
  • Hat Front + Hat Side
  • Sleeve + Chest

Multiple decoration locations may be combined on the same garment order.

Step 11 – Apply Optional Embroidery Charges
  1. Navigate to the Options section.
  2. Click the Pencil Edit icon.
  3. Select the desired service.
  4. Save your changes.

Example:

  • Selecting 3D Foam Embroidery adds a per-piece surcharge to the order.

Additional options can be added as needed.

Step 12 – Enter Custom Field Information
  1. Navigate to Custom Fields.
  2. Enter thread color information.
  3. Document placement instructions.
  4. Add production notes.
  5. Enter any customer-specific requirements.

Examples include:

  • Thread Colors
  • Needle Requirements
  • Placement Measurements
  • Special Production Instructions

Custom fields are informational and do not directly impact pricing.

Step 13 – Review the Pricing Breakdown
  1. Click Pricing Breakdown.
  2. Review garment pricing.
  3. Review embroidery decorations.
  4. Review option pricing.
  5. Verify the final calculated price.

The pricing breakdown displays:

  • Garment Price
  • Decoration Charges
  • Option Charges
  • Amortized Pricing
  • Rate Calculations

This provides full transparency into how the final quote was generated.

Step 14 – Save the Line Item
  1. Save the embroidery item.
  2. Review the generated summary grid.
  3. Verify styles, colors, sizes, quantities, and pricing.

The summary displays:

  • Style Information
  • Size Breakdown
  • Quantity Counts
  • Pricing Totals

This serves as a quick overview before presenting the quote to the customer.
