  1. Navigate to Settings → Products.

  3. Open the product and review the Configure Pricing page.

This product uses a Bill of Materials (BOM) structure rather than a traditional pricing grid.

Step 2 – Configure Click Charges
  1. Locate Section 1 – Click Charges.
  2. Review the pre-configured meter rates.
  3. Click the Pencil Edit icon to modify an existing click charge.
  4. Click Add or Duplicate to create additional click charge options.

Examples of click charges include:

  • Black & White Copier Rate
  • Color Copier Rate
  • Production Printer Rate

These charges represent the cost associated with imaging each printed page.

Common examples include:

  • 8.5" × 11"
  • 8.5" × 14"
  • 11" × 17"

The paper dimensions are used by the system when calculating material usage.

Step 4 – Maintain Accurate Paper Dimensions
  1. Open any paper stock record for editing.
  2. Review the dimensions carefully.
  3. Confirm that the dimensions match the actual stock used in production.
  4. Save changes if needed.

When duplicating a paper stock:

  1. Start with a stock that uses identical dimensions.

  3. Save the record.

The system uses these dimensions to determine how documents fit on the selected paper stock.

  2. Review the available additional charges.
  3. Modify default production items as needed.

Examples may include:

  • Additional Handling Fees
  • Special Production Charges

These options can be selected during quoting to automatically include additional costs.

Step 6 – Test Pricing Using Check Pricing
  1. Click Check Pricing.
  2. Enter the total number of copies required.
  3. Add any applicable additional costs.
  4. Select any packaging options.

  6. Configure other available production options.

This screen allows you to validate pricing before using the product in live quotes.

Step 7 – Review Calculated Pricing
  1. Verify the selected quantity.
  2. Review all selected production options.
  3. Confirm the calculated price displayed by the system.
  4. Make adjustments if needed.
  5. The pricing details can be viewed in the Pricing Breakdown option.

The final price is generated from the combination of:

  • Click Charges
  • Paper Costs
  • Packaging Costs
  • Rush Charges
  • Additional Production Fees
Notes & Tips

🔹 Tip: Create separate click charge records for each production device so pricing remains accurate when equipment costs differ.

🔹 Tip: Use default items for commonly applied charges such as rush production or packaging to reduce manual entry during quoting.

🔹 Tip: Review paper stock records regularly to ensure cost updates are reflected in pricing calculations.

⚠️ Warning: When duplicating paper stock records, maintain accurate dimensions. Incorrect paper sizes can impact material calculations.

⚠️ Warning: Verify that the correct click charge is selected. Using the wrong meter rate may result in inaccurate pricing.

⚠️ Warning: Test configuration changes using Check Pricing before using the product in active customer quotes.
