Getting started with shopVOX

Welcome to the "Getting Started with shopVOX" guide.

The purpose of this comprehensive guide is to acquaint you with the shopVOX interface and provide you with the necessary information to effectively utilize its tools and processes.

Please note that this guide is currently in its early release stage, and additional articles will be added in the future to further enhance your experience.

shopVOX operates seamlessly through web browsers and is compatible with most major ones. To access the system, simply open your preferred web browser and log into your account. Once successfully logged in, you have the option to follow this guide step-by-step for a comprehensive understanding or navigate directly to specific areas that meet your immediate requirements.

Getting started: The Basics 

Getting started: Customers and Vendors

  • Customers: Create a new customer, or import your customer list 
  • Vendors:  Adding new vendors and entering vendor contact information

Getting started: Accounting + Payment gateways

  • Billing: Subscription invoices, billing address, and payment information
  • Accounting: Settings for Sales taxes, term codes, payments, and chart of account
  • QuickBooks: Connecting your Quickbooks account
  • Sage ONE: Connecting your Sage One account
  • Xero: Connecting your Xero account
  • Transaction Numbers Settings: Set the number series for your transactions
  • Payment Gateway: Set up a payment gateway so that you can accept online credit card payments.
