Steps

Step 1 – Open the NCR Forms Product
  1. Navigate to Settings → Products.
  2. Locate and select NCR Forms from your product list.
  3. Open the product record to access its pricing configuration.

The NCR Forms product uses a Digital Golden Product structure that allows pricing to be managed through a configurable grid.

Step 2 – Access the Pricing Grid
  1. Within the NCR Forms product, click Configure Pricing.
  2. Review the Grid UI pricing table.
  3. Enable Show Cost Column if you would like to view your internal production costs.
  4. Review the Unit Price values, which represent the selling price presented to customers.

The Grid UI functions like a mini spreadsheet and is used to manage all NCR Forms pricing combinations.

Step 3 – Understand the Three Pricing Variables

The NCR Forms pricing grid is built using three data dimensions:

  1. Quantity
    • Number of form sets being ordered.
    • Example: 250, 500, 1,000 sets.
  2. Duplicates (Parts)
    • Number of NCR sheets included in each form.
    • Example:
      • 2-Part
      • 3-Part
      • 4-Part
  3. Size
    • Physical dimensions of the form.
    • Example:
      • 5.5" × 8.5"
      • 8.5" × 11"

These three variables determine the final selling price shown to users during quoting.

Step 4 – Modify Pricing Values
  1. Locate the desired cell within the pricing grid.
  2. Update the Unit Price value as needed.
  3. Optionally review the Cost value to ensure profitability.
  4. Save your changes.

Each cell represents a unique combination of:

  • Quantity
  • Number of parts
  • Form size

Updating a cell changes the quoted price for that specific combination.

Step 5 – Export and Import Pricing
  1. Select the Export CSV option.
  2. Open the exported file in Excel.
  3. Make your pricing adjustments in bulk.
  4. Save the file.
  5. Use Import CSV to upload the revised pricing.

This method is often much faster than editing numerous pricing cells directly within shopVOX.

Step 6 – Add New Sizes, Quantities, or Part Counts
  1. Locate the appropriate green text label within the grid configuration.
  2. Click the green text to add a new option.
  3. Enter the new value.

Examples include:

  • Adding a 4-Part NCR option.
  • Adding additional quantity tiers.
  • Adding new form sizes.

Once added, new pricing combinations become available within the quoting interface.

Step 7 – Verify Your Pricing
  1. Click Check Pricing.
  2. Select a Quantity.
  3. Select the Number of Parts.
  4. Select the Form Size.
  5. Confirm the calculated selling price appears as expected.

Example:

  • Quantity: 500
  • Parts: 3-Part
  • Size: 8.5" × 11"

The system will display the price based on the values stored in the pricing grid.

Notes & Tips

🔹 Tip: Use the CSV export/import process when updating large numbers of prices. It is significantly faster and reduces manual entry.

🔹 Tip: Review both the Cost and Unit Price columns when adjusting pricing to maintain desired profit margins.

⚠️ Warning: Do not use Quantity Breakpoints for NCR Forms. This product is sold as sets/packages, making the breakpoint option unnecessary for this configuration.

⚠️ Warning: After importing a revised CSV file, verify pricing using the Check Pricing tool to ensure all values imported correctly.
